Meet the Team

We are a small dedicated team of two.

Anytime you call you will speak to one of us, and one of us will open and respond to your email. We retain personal control of each and every project we undertake - no junior technicians, no admin staff - experience tells us that direct contact and accountability is key to a successful project.

  • Practice Manager

Sally leads the company’s communications and applications strategy, developing and maintaining strong connections with local authority planning and building control departments.

Sally is a people person, at seventeen she held a key front of house position in a prestigious central London hotel, subsequently developing her skills to transfer to management roles within the construction industry. The forming of effective relationships with clients, fellow professionals, and local authority officers is something that Sally excels at. Whether dealing with time management schedules or challenging planning policy documents, her skills and experience are invaluable in the delivery of successful projects.

“You really have to love and live the job when working with creative projects, deadlines and regulatory bodies all at the same time.“

  • Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT)

Whether creating a new house or renovating an existing one, Marcus brings a wide range of architectural experience to the process of realising client’s visions.

With a background working for award winning architectural practices and property developers throughout the UK and Channel Islands, establishing Hampton Architecture in 2003 with his wife and business partner Sally provided an opportunity to specialise in residential architecture. Marcus takes inspiration from his love of travel, and his love of coming home.

“When we hear from a client that our design has changed the way they use and enjoy their home, it spurs us on to do the same for each and every client. To create spaces that inspire, that bring family and friends together to eat, talk, laugh or simply sit in comfortable silence is what we are all about.”
